1. BOLCROATIA.COM

BolCroatia.com provides accommodation services as a middleman between the guest and accommodation/service providers. BolCroatia.com is responsible for the information found on its website and for the periods in which a booking is confirmed, except in circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control, including wars, riots, strikes, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, sanitary disruptions, restrictions by local authorities, death or illness of service provider and the like.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Inquiries and booking of accommodation can be done in person, electronically from our website, or by email directly to BolCroatia.com. When booking, the customer confirms that he is familiar with the General Terms and Conditions, and that he accepts them in their entirety. The customer is required to give all the information necessary to process the booking. For most private accommodations, only a deposit is required. The remaining balance is to be paid on day of arrival directly to accommodation provider.

3. TOURIST TAX

Tourist tax is mainly included in the price. If stated that it is not included, then it is paid additionally upon arrival. The tax costs anywhere from 2.00 to 7.00 Croatian Kuna daily per adult person. The cost depends on the age of the guests and time period of stay. Tourists from the age of 12 to 18 have a 50% discount, while children under the age of 12 are exempt from paying.

4. ACCOMMODATION PRICE

Each accommodation unit listed on our site includes the rates and basic service provided. The owners of accommodation units set the prices and they reserve the right to change them. The price of the accommodation and services cannot and will not change for any guest that has already booked and made a reservation through BolCroatia.com. If more persons come with the guest than are stated on the voucher during arrive at the accommodation unit, the host has the right to deny the extra guests accommodation or to accommodate all of the guests at extra charge directly made to the host.

5. BOLCROATIA.COM RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION

BolCroatia.com reserves the right to change the reservation under unforeseen circumstances or owing to circumstances beyond their control. Booked accommodation can be changed only if a guest is informed on time and if a similar or better accommodation can be found in its place. If replacement cannot be found, BolCroatia.com reserves the right to cancel the reservation and must give advanced notice to the guest. Full payment will then be returned to the guest.

6. GUEST'S RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION

The guest has a right to cancel his booking and reservation of accommodation. BolCroatia.com must be informed by the guest of the cancellation by means of e-mail or fax. Since most private accommodation bookings are reserved by deposit, then you can lose only the deposit amount we charged. In situations where we are informed well ahead of arrival and are able to find replacement guests, then it is possible to get a full or partial refund of the deposit.

7. BOLCROATIA.COM OBLIGATIONS

BolCroatia.com assumes an obligation to control providers of services and to protect interests and rights of a Guest in consistence with good manners in tourism. It is also BolCroatia.com obligation to insure that the guest receives the services he paid for.

8. CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATIONS

The customer is required:

  • to have valid travel documents
  • to obey customs regulations and currency exchange regulations of the country where the destination is located
  • to obey house rules in accommodation units and to have good relations with the host
  • to produce the confirmation of payment (Voucher received by mail or email) upon arrival
  • the customer is obligated to check whether a visa is necessary for the country where the destination is located or for neighboring countries

Should the customer not follow the above listed obligations, the customer is liable for caused damage and must cover the expenses. By confirming the reservation, the customer accepts to pay for all damages caused directly to the host.

9. SOLVING COMPLAINTS

Guest can ask for certain compensation for paid services that were not fulfilled. Guest should take up the complaint with immediately with the provider of services in good faith to solve the problem. If the complaint is valid, the guest should contact BolCroatia.com. BolCroatia.com assumes an obligation to try to solve the complaint or get compensation on behalf of the guest for any unfulfilled services.
