About Blaca with a Quad / ATV

Quad/ATV tour to the Blaca Hermitage with a visit to the sea military tunnels.

From Bol, the quad ride takes around 45 minutes before arriving at the parking of the remarkable Blaca Hermitage (Blaca Monastery). From the parking, we are going for about 30 30-minute hike down to the Blaca Hermitage.

Blaca Hermitage is locally known as ‘Pustinja Blaca’, this monastery is one of several hermitages scattered across Brač Island, positioned on its southern slopes. The extraordinary complex began in the 16th century, when Glagolitic monks fleeing the Ottoman invasion settled in a natural stone cave that served as their first chapel, shelter, and living quarters. Over time, it grew into the best-preserved monastery on Brač.

Today, Blaca functions as a museum, housing thousands of artifacts — among them an extensive library with 8,000 volumes, numerous artworks, a telescope, and even a 400-kilogram piano.

Throughout the trip, your guide will ensure your safety while sharing insights about the landscapes and cultural landmarks along the route.

Included in the price are snacks, drinks, and Blaca Hermitage tickets.
