What can you visit while in Bol?
While in Bol, you can visit many places by choosing a one-day Bol excursion. Apart from destinations around Bol and on the island Brac, you can visit neighbouring islands or a few of the many Croatian National Parks. It is hard to recommend, but I will list the most interesting ones so You can see them for Yourself and book directly with me here through the website. The prices are final and without any commission so you are not paying more, actually, most prices are lower than you would pay if booking directly with tour operators. I include only the best tour operators, so you have the best possible experience. I tried all of them and would not recommend them if I did not love them!
Brac Island Tour
This is the opportunity to visit island Brac, the Adriatic’s third-largest island, with its towns and picturesque scenery. We shall visit Skrip, the island’s oldest settlement and its olive oil museum in the central part of the island. We shall also pay a visit to Pucisca to see how famous Brac stone is quarried with a visit to the stone masonry school and take the opportunity to go up to the summit of Vidova Gora (St. Vid Mountain, 780m 2560 ft) to enjoy the beautiful view of the town Bol and the surrounding islands of Vis, Korcula, and Hvar.
Half-day tour with car/van, you choose the departure time; the tour lasts roughly 4 hours plus an optional lunch break.
Blaca Hermitage Tour
The Blaca Hermitage is one of the most remarkable attractions on the island of Brac and one of the hidden gems of Croatia. It offers a glimpse into a different era when monks lived in harmony with nature and devoted themselves to God and knowledge. It is a place that will inspire you with its beauty, history, and spirituality.
Blaca Hermitage was added to the Cultural category on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List on January 29, 2007.
Tour options:
- By car: 3-4 hour tour with car/van, except Mondays and Saturdays.
- By boat: Wednesdays – 5 hour tour with a boat, with visit to military tunnel and swimming stop.
- With Quad/ATV: Saturdays – 6 hour tour, with visit to military tunnel and swimming stop.
Bol Sunset tour
You will take the excursion boat Frane Bol and have a sunset time panoramic tour of Bol, from the Dominican monastery on the east side to Zlatni rat beach. You will have dinner and also the opportunity to have a sunset swim in the sea from the boat.
Sunset tour by boat, Thursdays 19:00 – 22:00.
Another option is to go on a 2 hour ride with Quad / ATV to the top of the island Brac, the Vidova gora mountain top.
The Quad / ATV sunset tour with runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 18:00-20:00 (or 18:30-20:30 depending on the season)
Blue cave tour
The Blue cave tour starts from Bol harbour; after picking you up, you will step on our speedboat for a thrilling 90-minute ride to Bisevo Island and its marvellous Blue Cave.
You will also visit the Green cave, Komiza or Vis town on island Vis, have a lunch break in town Vis or on Paklinski islands, and visit the military tunnel.
Full-day tour with speed boat, 8:00 – 18:00.
Town Hvar on Island Hvar
The town of Hvar has a lot of historical monuments interesting for visitors. A visit to 17th-century Theater, the 13th and 14th-century Arsenal, or squares surrounded by numerous churches and palaces in different architectural styles complete the town image. The Franciscan monastery in the town is well known for its collection of paintings of old masters, including the most famous one – “The Last Supper” by Ingoli. The fort above the town offers a magnificent view of one part of the surrounding islands and the nearby archipelago.
As an option, you can choose to visit Palmižana on St. Klement island, the largest of the Paklinski islands in front of town Hvar. There you can swim in Vingradisce bay, where you walk through the cactus and palms that the sailors brought from around the world.

Town Stari Grad and town Hvar on Island Hvar
The town of Stari Grad is the oldest town on the island of Hvar. It is home to Tvrdalj castle with its seawater fish pool. It was the home of Petar Hektorovic, a poet and collector of Hvar’s fishermen songs and an essential figure of the Renaissance period in Croatian literature.
You will have a swim break in Stiniva Bay and then go to town Hvar. As an option, you can also visit Palmizana.

Krka Waterfalls
Krka National Park is an unmissable destination for a day trip. This natural wonder offers much, from crystal-clear turquoise waters to cascading waterfalls and lush greenery.
The journey from Bol to Krka National Park is scenic, with breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and charming coastal villages along the way. Once you arrive, you can embark on a guided tour through the park to immerse yourself in its natural wonders.
