Ages 10 and up (depending on the association according to which the course is performed), for candidates younger than 18, the approval of a parent or guardian is required.
No prior scuba diving knowledge or experience is required.

A minimum of 6 dives is required to complete the course.

The course is based on a diving course of five to six days. It is held in small groups under the expert guidance of a diving instructor. The course entails a minimum of six dives with 6-11 interactive video demonstrations of dive theory and basic diving drills acquired during this course in line with the latest global diving trends. After the first three beach dives and the mastering of basic drills necessary for safe driving, the participants go on boat dives and dive to depths of up to 18m.

Upon course completion, the participants will receive an internationally recognized diploma issued by one of the diving associations.

Children aged 10 to 15 will receive a certificate of completion of the OW JUNIOR course, and after they are 15, they will automatically receive an OWD diploma without taking additional tests.

A feature of OW JUNIOR is that children between the ages of 10 and 12 do not dive deeper than 12 m.
