Bol has the largest tennis center in Dalmatia

Tennis in Bol has a long tradition. Bol has one of the largest and most beautiful tennis centers in this part of Europe. With a central stadium with 2000 seats, Bol is the only town that has a stadium with more seats than the town itself has inhabitants (1664 people live in Bol). The tennis center offers 26 clay tennis courts. The tennis school is organized by the largest German tennis travel agency Patricio Travel. You can rent a court to play or take the beginner to tournament play-level classes with experienced tennis trainers.

Tennis tournaments in Bol

Many tennis tournaments are being organized in Bol throughout the year. They range from recreational ones to Croatian nationals, ITF tours, and WTA. Each year, the last week of September, the largest tournament is the ITF Senior Adidas Open by Bluesun, with over 400 participants. The 16th edition will be held in 2021.

Bol became a famous tennis destination by hosting the WTA Bol Ladies Open. Some of the greatest world female tennis players played here, such as Ana Kournikova, Mirjana Lucic, Iva Majoli, and likes.
